Meet Dr. William Barnett, DVM

Founder | Advanced Veterinary Nutrition

Since 1982, Dr. William Barnett has applied his veterinary expertise to developing supplements that support optimal health and fitness in dogs and cats. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine, then completed advanced training in Laboratory Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Medical Research. As acting veterinarian, he oversaw the care of more than 13,000 animals and later served as special advisor to both the U.S. Army Dental Institute of Research and the Walter Reed Division of Surgical Research.

Dr. Barnett went on to lead Surgical Research at the Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego for eight years. Drawing on decades of clinical and research experience, he has created a line of safe, effective, and palatable products designed to meet the unique health needs of animals at every life stage—helping dogs and cats live healthier, longer lives.
